Mario H. Lopez is a freelance writer in Washington, DC.  His work has appeared in Brainwash, Organization Trends, Estylo, & Papercut.

Before coming to Washington, Mario earned a Master’s Degree in Professional Writing from the University of Southern California, in Los Angeles, where he concentrated in Non-Fiction writing. In addition to his MPW degree, Mario also did graduate work in Political Science, with a focus on Law and Public Policy. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego.

Mario has been active in several organizations, including the Hispanic Youth Foundation, America's Future Foundation.
